Its military personnel parachutes have been used by the United States military since the 1950s. The company also manufactures packs and harnesses, flares, drogue and drone recovery parachutes and ribbon chutes.

Mills Manufacturing is an approved US Government manufacturer in accordance with General Specification for Parachutes, Personnel, MIL-DTL-6645J. Its troop parachutes include both parabolic and flat circular designs. Cargo parachutes are flat, circular and bi-conical with canopy diameters ranging from 34 ft to 100 ft. Extraction and stabilization parachutes are of ring slot design with diameters of 15 to 28 ft.

The company is vertically integrated, performing all manufacturing, inspection, testing, and packaging of its parachutes. Its primary supplier of nylon cord is Miltex Industries, a division of the company.

Mills manufacturing's customer base includes all branches of the United States Military and more than 65 foreign countries.
