June 29th, 2011:

Kaycom is pleased to announce that J+S Ltd, based in Barnstaple, United Kingdom, has appointed Kaycom as its sole representative for Canadian Naval requirements & repair programs in Canada.

J+S has a long heritage in in-service support, technology insertion and obsolescence management of defence and energy sub sea systems. It also has a growing presence in land and air defence.

J+S has a long history of supporting the UK Royal Navy. It owns intellectual property and is the UK design authority for naval systems used on British-designed ships and submarines. This includes a suite of acoustic systems that are installed on the Canadian Navy’s fleet of four Victoria Class diesel-electric submarines. Kaycom and J+S will immediately cooperate to deliver a comprehensive range of support services for these systems, including repair, overhaul, calibration, testing and engineering services.


November 15th, 2010:

Kaycom is pleased to announce it has been awarded a Canadian Military Government contract valued at $998K for the supply of 30 Weibel Scientific A/S Muzzle Velocity Radar systems specifically designed to meet the requirements of Canadian artillery systems. This configuration of radar system is currently in use on various artillery systems.

Kaycom is proud to announce our recent appointment in becoming the exclusive Canadian representative for Leafield Logistics & Technical Services (LLTS), a UK based naval spare parts supplier which provides comprehensive materiel support to Navies, Original Equipment Manufacturers, prime contractors and trading companies around the world. Of particular interest to Canada is Victoria Class Submarine support.

Kaycom exhibits at the CANSEC 2010 trade show, 2nd and 3rd of June in Ottawa; sponsored by the Canadian Association of Defence and Security Industry (CADSI).

CANSEC features product presentations and capability displays of Canada's leading edge defence and security technologies to a wide audience that includes Government agencies and Departments with interests in security, public safety, risk mitigation, threat response and emergency planning.

October 16th, 2009:

Kaycom has been awarded a Canadian Military Government contract valued at $2.2 million for the supply of 12K Lithium Sulphur Dioxide battery packs designed, developed and sold uder the Kaycom product brand. These batteries are in support of the Light Assault Radio (LAR), the smallest radio in the Canadian Army communication inventory.

April 11th, 2009:

Kaycom has been awarded a Canadian Military Government contract valued at $1 million for the supply and training of 60 NEPS Desiccator Systems to support depot workshops and field applications.

The Nitrogen Enhanced Purging Systems (NEPS) Desiccator Systems are supplied by Brownell Ltd of the UK. Brownell provides a comprehensive range of products for preventing the problems caused by condensation, humidity and over pressure.
