Kaycom represents (Weibel) specializes in the development and manufacture of state of the art velocity and position measuring instruments based on Continuous Wave (CW) Doppler principles. Throughout its 70-year history, Weibel has designed and manufactured very high precision industry-leading instruments for markets that currently include defence, aerospace, forensics and automobile. As a supplier to Northrop Grumman, Weibel supplied products that contribute to the monitoring of foam debris from Shuttle launchers.

Weibel offers five categories of product:

• Doppler radar systems for short-range velocity measurements,
• Doppler radar systems for intermediate range velocity measurements,
• Azimuth & elevation monopulse tracking radar systems for velocity and three dimensional position measurements,
• Multi-frequency long range tracking radar systems for long-range time and space position measurements, and
• Ranging radars for optical platforms.

Weibel radars are compact and mobile units that combine high accuracy, small size, easy transportability, and high performance in all-weather conditions. They are ideally suited to defence testing requirements, measuring flight characteristics of moving objects. Applications include lot acceptance, research and development, and range safety.

Weibel's products also include Muzzle Velocity Radar Indicators (MVRI) installed on many types of artillery including the M-777. In Canada, Weibel has customized its MVRIs to meet the operational needs of the Canadian Forces, who are in the process of upgraded their legacy MVRI's with Weibel equipment resulting in fleet wide commonality.
